为发挥杰出校友在我院学生教育中的示范引领作用,鼓励在校学生以杰出校友为标杆,明确目标,不断进取,勇攀高峰。2018年11月15日晚,我校金属材料工程专业9833班校友、西北工业大学教授、博士生导师、洪堡学者陈豫增应邀为我校2018级研究生、本科生作题为“我对大学生活的一点体会和建议”的报告。
陈豫增校友把自己的大学分为五个阶段,每一个不同的阶段都记录着他的感受和奋进里程。让新生从优秀校友的经历中对自己如何度过大学生活有了明确的规划,减轻了新生对大学生活的迷茫心理。
陈豫增校友告诫学生,时间是珍贵的,四年一晃而过,唯有学习是最重要的,因为未来的幸福和继续深造都是以大学四年的学习为基础的。要学会付出,付出是任何成功的基础。要做好面对挫折的心理准备,任何人的人生都不是一帆风顺的。
陈豫增校友用朴实无华的语言,拉进了与18级新生的心理距离。亲切的向2018级新生分享着他在西安工业大学求学期间的点点滴滴,大学时的青涩溢于言表,对学生产生了很强的激励作用。
材化学院一直致力于发挥杰出校友在我院人才培养中的模范引领作用,并通过校友资助、校友企业招聘等形式积极促进学生成长成才、促进学院发展。
