赵焱,美国明尼苏达大学博士,四川大学材料科学与工程学院、武汉大学工业科学研究院二级教授,博导,国家“千人计划”专家和湖北省“百人计划”专家,长期从事理论计算化学和计算材料学等领域的研究工作,包括高精确度理论化学数据库的发展、新一代密度泛函的开发和应用、纳米材料的模拟、计算催化、计算化学软件开发、3D打印等。赵焱教授以第一/通讯作者在Nat. Commun.、Adv. Mater.、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Angew Chem.、Energy Environ. Sci.、Adv. Energy Mater. 等国际权威学术期刊上发表论文200余篇,SCI引用超过57000次, 其中M06论文单篇引用超过19000,约10位诺奖获得者运用过M06系列泛函,200多篇 Nature和Science及其子刊的论文运用了M06理论计算方法。赵焱教授是美国惠普公司MJF-3D打印技术的主创人员之一,拥有授权国际专利25项, 担任《Energy & Environmental Materials》(IF=13.4)副主编、《Interdisciplinary Materials》学术主编、《Nanomaterials》(IF=5.719)的编辑委员会成员。
