侯剑辉博士2006年在中国科学院化学研究所获得物理化学专业的博士学位,曾入选中科院"百人计划"择优支持及中科院化学所"引进国外杰出青年人才计划",并获得国家杰出青年科学基金资助。2006年底进入加州大学洛杉矶分校(University of California, Los Angeles)的Prof. Yang Yang课题组开始为期两年的博士后研究工作。2008年,作为高级研究员加入美国Solarmer Energy Inc.公司,担任研发部门的主管(Director of Research);于2009年底开始,兼任该公司在北京的分支(朔纶有机光电有限公司,Solarmer Materials Inc.)的首席技术官(Chief Technology Officer)。2010年10月,加入中国科学院化学研究所高分子物理与化学国家重点实验室,成立课题组,开展聚合物太阳能电池相关的研究工作。2011年5月,被北京科技大学化学系聘为兼职教授/博导。
目前从事的研究方向主要包括:1)高效聚合物太阳能活性层材料的设计、合成和规模性生产;2)聚合物太阳能电池面板的生产工艺。在共轭聚合物给体光伏材料的设计和合成方面取得了多项创新性成果,尤其是在三类重要的高效给体光伏材料(具有共轭支链的两维共轭聚合物、基于苯并二噻吩(BDT)的共聚物和基于二噻吩噻咯(DTS)的D-A共聚物)方面开展了大量工作。在Nature Photonics, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., 等国际学术期刊发表SCI论文100余篇;SCI论文引用10000余次,申请10余项中国发明专利和美国/国际发明专利。
