孙威浙江大学教授。本科毕业于吉林大学化学学院,化学专业,获学士学位。自本科阶段即加入杨柏教授课题组开展了“胶体晶体与纳微米有序结构的构筑”等课题研究。2011年至2016年,于加拿大多伦多大学(University of Toronto)化学学院,无机化学-交叉学科专业,获直升博士学位,师从“纳米化学之父”、爱因斯坦奖获得者Geoffrey Ozin教授,期间研究方向为硅纳米晶、量子点的合成制备,以及其表面化学。2016年毕业后兼聘于多伦多大学化学学院和机械工程学院,完成博士后研究,方向为通过纳米硅化学实现硅在催化、环境、能源方向的新应用。2019年加入浙江大学材料科学与工程学院及硅材料国家重点实验室担任“百人计划研究员”职务,博士生导师。曾被授予2015国家优秀自费留学生奖学金,以及多伦多大学最高国际生奖学金Connaught Scholarship以表彰科研学术的潜力,并曾任多伦多大学中国学联主席,负责与国内高校、科研院所以及加拿大科研机构保持良好合作联系。

10月10日下午,校学术委员会组织现场答辩会,对各学部推荐的18项浙江大学青年学者2022年度十大学术进展候选项目进行评选。经专家评审,遴选出浙江大学青年学者2022年度十大学术进展项目名单。我院孙威长聘副教授的学术成果“应用于碳转化和神经突触器件的纳米硅新材料”榜上有名!
       硅作为传统半导体信息材料具有价廉、高丰度(地壳含量二)、低毒性、强吸光性(可吸收48%太阳光)等重要优势,而我国也抓住机遇成为了全球硅产能、消费第一大国,因此硅材料的可持续发展将对我国经济民生产生深远影响。然而,硅材料的研究日趋接近瓶颈,方向渐渐脱离热点。令硅材料的尺度降低,可赋予其一些新的物理化学特性,但即便是纳米硅材料,其在生物成像、光电器件等方面也难以与许多高性能材料竞争,也不具有稳定的催化作用,仅在锂电负极中展示了一定实用化优势。因此如何跳出硅材料的用途局限,并如何利用硅的特性与我国经济民生直接关切的双碳、能源、环境、半导体等领域高效、低成本结合,已成为新时代硅材料研究的重要课题,具有形成新的高科技产业的前景。
       该研究成果开发了纳米硅新结构简便、批量的制备方法,超越了固体硅材料化学惰性的传统观念,将硅成功转化为具有调控“碳利用”催化反应性能的功能材料,并且通过独特的结构获得了高活性、高选择性和高稳定性;将硅在发光领域的劣势(高载流子复合率)转变为产热的优势,高效实现了光热催化这一能降低传统催化碳足迹的新催化模式;所开发的纳米硅新结构实现了半导体行业金属废弃资源的升级回收利用,拓展了硅材料的环境资源新应用;利用表面有机修饰二维纳米硅可实现堆叠的平行电容新结构,开发了机制可解读的下一代电子器件——神经突触器件的“硅基底上硅工作叠层”新模式,有望与传统半导体硅基工艺兼容。
         该系列工作中最主要的工作发表于Nature Communications(两篇)和Advanced Science,三篇论文总全文访问下载量已超12000余次;两篇Nature子刊的工作分别被Nature循环经济特辑置顶推荐,和Nature Community工程板块报道。发表于Advanced Science的论文”被遴选为内封面文章,并且个人被评为Wiley出版社Adv.Sci/Adv.Mater “Rising Star”(新星)。
        孙威,浙江大学长聘副教授,浙江大学半导体材料研究所副所长,国家重点研发计划(青年项目,工程科学与交叉,光热催化加氢制甲醇)首席科学家。长期研究纳米硅材料,发表SCI论文60余篇,约一半影响因子大于10,发表了硅及光热催化领域全球率先的几篇Nature子刊论文。担任《Rare Metals》、《Chinese Chemical Letters》、《Transactions of Tianjin University》等多个期刊青年编委。
