化学工程或物理化学 (膜科学和制氢)研究领域:氢能作为一种清洁、高效、可持续的新能源,被视为21世纪最具发展潜力的能源,其需求量正逐渐增大。金属钯膜分离技术具有100%的透氢选择性、装置密集型、节能、高效率等优点成为燃料电池和其它氢能技术以及膜催化等相关领域中氢气生产、纯化和利用的研究热点。针对这些应用,GOLDBACH的主要研究方向涉及高性能、高稳定性的金属氢分离膜的研制、表征和应用。具体来说,包括以下几个方面:
1. 高效的Pd合金膜的研制
    包括双组份、三组分如PdCu、PdAu、PdAg、PdNi等合金膜的制备及其结构特点、分离性能的研究。
2. Pd以及Pd合金膜的化学、热稳定性以及失活机理的研究
    尽管Pd及其合金膜本身具有较好的化学稳定性和热稳定性,但是在具体应用条件包括温度、气氛、压力等下,其稳定性尚需深入系统的研究。
3. 膜反应器中制氢的研究
    膜反应器可将分离和反应耦合到一个物理单元,同时由于在线分离产物而促进反应的进行,主要涉及水蒸气重整、水煤气变换(包括抗硫催化剂的研制)的研究。
4. 膜反应器中选择氧化的研究
    尤其低温选择氧化,如H2O2的合成,以及利用原位生成的H2O2选择性氧化碳氢化合物。
