王要兵,男,博士,研究员、博士生导师。1982年4月生。2003年本科毕业于湖北大学化学与材料科学学院,2008年在中国科学院化学研究所获得物理化学博士学位(导师:姚建年院士),随后在美国加州大学河滨分校化学系从事博士后研究(合作导师:Chris Bardeen),2009年回国于深圳从事石墨烯产业化项目工作。2012年12月以高层次人才引进到中国科学院福建物质结构研究所工作,任研究员、课题组长。在Advanced Materials,Scientific Reports,Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Electrochimica Acta,Journal of Power Sources等国际著名期刊上发表文章三十余篇,并获得授权专利40余篇。
