天津大学Nano Energy:富氮多级孔碳作为电容型高容量稳定钠离子电池负极材料



碳基负极材料由于其天然的丰富性和低开发成本,在钠离子电池(SIBs)的应用中有着广阔的前景。来自天津大学的孙晓红课题组,天津工业大学的郑春明课题组和美国加州大学圣巴巴拉分校的Galen D. Stucky课题组联合在Nano Energy上发表文章,题为“Nitrogen-rich hierarchically porous carbon as a high-rate anode material with ultra-stable cyclability and high capacity for capacitive sodium-ion batteries”。 中美联合培养博士生胡旭东为第一作者。通过喷雾干燥和随后在流动NH3下热解,合成了蜂窝状、富氮(17.72 at%)多级孔、高度无序的碳质材料(N-HC),其层间距离平均扩大到0.44 nm。多级孔结构和富氮掺杂导致大的比表面积(722 m2 g−1)、更多的缺陷和活性位点,以及活性多级孔碳质材料和电解质更大的功能界面可及性。当N-HC用作SIBs的负极材料时,电池显示出良好的放电容量(在500 mA g−1下的第3000次循环中为255.9 mA h g−1 )和良好的电容储能性能(在0.5 mV s−1的扫描速率下为67 % ),在5000 mA g−1下的10000次循环中具有优异的高倍率性能和超稳定的循环能力。作者的结果表明,多级孔结构和氮掺杂的结合通过增加电容储能来改善了能量存储,这提高了N-HC的高倍率性能。为了进一步提高材料的性能,采用电预处理将N-HC的初始库仑效率提高到79.5 %,这是SIBs电池的较高记录。具有N-HC负极和Na3V2(PO4)3/C正极的全电池显示出高容量和良好的循环能力(在100 mA g−1下循环100次后为238.7 mA h g−1,与第二次循环相比容量保持率为95.3 % )。
