Pengbo Wan received his B.S. degree (2006) at Wuhan University (China). Then he was recommended to join Prof. Xi Zhang’s group as a Ph.D. candidate in Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University and was awarded his Ph.D. degree in 2011. During his Ph.D. study, he worked as an exchange student at the University of Leuven (Belgium) with Prof. Wim Dehaen and Prof. Mario Smet. After working as a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) with Prof. Xiaodong Chen, he joined Beijing University of Chemical Technology as an Associate Professor in 2013. His research interests include organic–inorganic hybrid nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage, stimuli-responsive biointerfaces, bioelectrocatalysis, supramolecular assembly, and nanoelectronics.

主要从事有机/无机纳米功能复合材料的可控合成、表面改性、分离分析及其在催化、传感、能源、环境、纳米器件、超分子组装、高分子功能化等方面的应用研究。
代表性论文:
主要开发基于有机/无机纳米功能复合材料的透明、柔性、便携、可穿戴电子学器件及其在超级电容器和环境有害气体传感等能源与环境方面的应用研究,为新型电化学储能器件和传感器件的开发及其在节约能源、环境监控与治理、能量存储方面的可持续发展提供理论依据和技术支持。近年来学术成果发表在Adv. Mater.,Adv. Funct. Mater.,Small,Chem. Commun.,Langmuir,ChemElectroChem等期刊杂志,撰写综述文章两篇;相关成果被MaterialsViews China网站作为前沿进展报道,被Small等期刊选作“卷首插画”论文,被ChemElectroChem选作VIP文章和正封面,被Wiley-VCH选作Surfaces and Interfaces: Wiley-VCH Hot Topics。
