主要从事新型二维层状材料的化学气相沉积制备、新奇物性探索和应用研究。近年来在Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Materials等一流学术期刊上发表论文60余篇,总引用2100余次。其中以第一/共同第一作者身份在Nature Communications (1篇)、Advanced Materials (5篇)、Journal of the American Chemical Society (1篇)、ACS Nano (4篇)、Advanced Energy Materials (1篇)、Advanced Functional Materials (1篇)等国际学术权威期刊上发表论文20篇。受邀担任Advanced Materials等国际期刊的审稿人。
